GOOD NEWS!!!
Daniel had come down with the flu on Friday and hadn't been feeling very good all weekend and he had to fly to Oklahoma for his 1,500 hour check ride on Sunday. He flew out on Sunday and his check ride was scheduled for Monday morning. Monday morning he arrived at the airport to 35 mile an hour winds and clouds, not very good conditions for flying. This didn't stop the instructor though, Daniel and him went up and flew. Daniel called me when he finished and told me he didn't think he passed, he said it was a very tough due to the weather. The instructor had told him to go get lunch and come back to do his oral exam. He was extremely nervous and stressed wondering if he passed or failed and couldn't eat. He called me a few hours later and was super excited, he said he aced the oral and he passed his check ride. We are all so proud of him for this awesome accomplishment, CONGRATULATIONS DANIEL!!!!! Next step is helicopter training in Fullerton either in July or October, we are hoping he gets the July opening so he can get it over and done with.
