Easter Sunday

On Easter Sunday Tatum woke up to a huge yellow duckie and a basket full of candy. At first she didn't really know what to think, but then she decided she would check out the goodies in her basket. We then drove up to Stephen & Monica's house for Easter brunch and more egg hunting. Monica had put together a feast for everyone, machaca, potatoes, waffles, rice and beans and all kinds of other yummy things to eat. Grammy made a bunny cake that was really cute and he tasted really good too! The kids all ran around in the backyard searching for easter eggs. There were 200 plastic eggs. Daddy and Tatum found so many eggs they had to get a second basket to hold them all. After egg hunting the kids all went through their baskets of eggs and also the baskets the easter bunny left with more candy and other goodies. Tatum got a rubber ball and also a swimsuit. She was so excited about the swimsuit she started stripping her clothes off just to put it on. It was a good thing it had started to warm up outside. She ran around the rest of the day in her princess swimsuit and didn't want to take it off at the end of the day.
