Last Sunday Tatum and I drove to San Diego for the week since Daniel was leaving to go out of town. I don't really like staying in Yuma by ourselves when he is gone, it gets lonely. I did some work and then packed up for the ride, while Tatum went with Grandpa Wayne and Becky to check out the Harley Dealership. She ended up riding with them to San Diego and I got to ride out by myself, it was nice having just me time. I got out of Yuma just when the sand storm was coming through, I did hit the sand all through Imperial Valley which was not fun. I was so happy to get into San Diego, but I was bummed when I found out the plague had hit Anna & Jacob. Anna was sick with Strep and Jacob was just sick. We ended up staying the whole week at Nancy and Dennis' and stayed away from
nanas all week until Wednesday, when we went over for dinner. Nana had spent all day
disinfecting the house. I hope it worked, we aren't sick yet! On Monday we celebrated Tyler & Christina's birthdays. Tyler had mentioned the night before that he has always wanted a pinata for his birthday and never had one. So Tatum & I went out to Party City and got a Sponge Bob pinata, party hats, balloons and horns. Monica brought over an ice cream cake which was so yummy and we had
Italian for dinner. Uncle Stephen hung the pinata and held it up for all the kids. It was so much fun watching them hit the pinata. Chase did really well, he really wanted to bust it open and get the candy. Cody didn't really care about hitting it and Tatum tried hitting it with grandmas help. We all died laughing at Tyler and Christina. Check out all the party pictures and videos below. The rest of the week I worked mostly during the day and did a little shopping and dinner with everyone at night. On Thursday we headed home and picked up Daddy at work. He had just flown into San Diego from
Oklahoma that morning and drove back to Yuma. Tatum was so happy to see her daddy, she really misses him when he is gone. I was happy to be home, but I really miss being in San Diego.
